Our team begins each project with an incoming inspection.  Standard procedure for centrifugal casting is to remove all babbitt down to the base material to confirm the integrity of the end product. JD's uses ASTM-B23 GR 2 Virgin Babbitt and has the ability to spin TEGO STAR upon request. Our quality will meet any bond specification that you require. Our standard, should you not have a NDE policy, is 95% plus. We use a third party (Level II) for all turbine work so that you know the bond is there. Thermocouples can be provided when needed with amphenol plugs to connect to your unit. We do not offer tig repair so you know the quality of the babbitt matches the quality of the original engineering.
